At CMCA, we believe that the opportunity for participation in a variety
of athletic and activities programs is a vital part of a student’s
educational experiences. Such participation is a privilege that carries
with it responsibilities to the school, the activity, other students,
and the athletes themselves. The CMCA athletic and activities programs, a
supplement to the school’s academically rigorous curriculum, strives to
provide experiences that will help students develop physically,
mentally, socially and emotionally. Our coaches support The Vanguard
School’s commitment to character education. Coaches will capitalize on
teaching moments and integrate character education through their example
and verbal reinforcements.
The Vanguard School has been a CHSAA (Colorado High School
Activities Association) member since January 2008. We are a Class 2A
school, competing in the Black Forest League (BFL).

"Home" sporting events take place at either the Corona Campus (for Grades 7-12) or Wahsatch Campus (for Grades 5-6).
